Hello I’m Ashley and water has always been my happy place. From splashing in puddles as a kid to spending hours in the pool, I was the one who never wanted to get out. That love of the water turned into a into a lifelong passion for swimming and for teaching others to feel just as comfortable and confident in it.

With over 20 years of experience, I’ve been lucky enough to turn my passion into a truly rewarding career. I made the decision to open my own swim school in 2025 and founded Aqua Stars Swim Academy Brighton.

Teaching people isn’t just strokes and technique, it’s about building confidence, overcoming fears and unlocking a lifelong love for the water. As a STA Aquatic Tutor and RLSS Training Assessor, I not only teach swimmers of all ages and levels but also help train the next generation of swimming teachers and lifeguards, ensuring that water safety remains a priority in every session.

My goal is simple: to make learning to swim fun, safe and rewarding. swimming isn’t just a skill it’s a lifelong gift and I can’t wait to share it with you.
